Le Pont des Arts is a very romantic bridge in Paris which crosses the Seine River. It has an incredible number of Love Locks. It symbolize the lover's everlasting love. Some even throw away the key in the Seine.
oh this is such a wonderfully sweet idea!! i never knew of this before ~ awesome that you got some great pictures! and thank you for your sweet comment ;) ;) xx ~ ks
:) Love it. There's a bridge in Moscow -Luzhkov Bridge- that has the same thing. It's traditional for just married couples to stop there and put a lock into it.

Ahhh this makes me miss Paris so much. I long for it so badly, especially these last few months. A bit of my family lives in Paris, and the rest scattered through out Dijon and Tours. I love this post!
I was there in April, and thought what a lovely idea it was... However, your photos are so pretty, especially the first one... Ah, yes, I so love roaming the streets of Paris, or London, New York, Barcelona, Rome... check it out: twofoureightonenine

What a simple, but vivid gesture of love. I am currently adding this to my life's to-do list. I suppose I will have to check off "go to Paris" first.
